Message On The Occasions Of Christmas And The New Year

by Administrator
MESSAGE ON THE OCCASIONS OF CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR Warmest greetings to all officers and affiliates of the Philippine Community Council (PCC) of New South Wales. As you come together in celebration of Christmas and in anticipation of the New Year, let us reflect on the message of Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. May you all be inspired by this message to come together this holiday season in celebration of your kinship and oneness as members of one Filipino community. May your hearts and minds continue to be open and dedicated to serving your fellowmen, in particular our countrymen both here in Australia and in the Philippines. I hope and pray that PCC will continue to grow from strength to strength, and its members united in purpose to serve and promote the collective interests of the Filipino Community in… Full Story

Pasko letter from PCC of NSW President Jun Relunia

by Administrator
Dear PCC-NSW Affiliates, Greetings! Christmas is upon us and what a fitting way to mark this festive season by having the affiliates come together in a spirit of fun the way we Filipinos mark Christmastime back home - sharing traditional Christmas food, singing carols, parol display and gift giving. Over the years, the affiliates have always been the lifeline of community support as PCCNSW sets out to pursue major fundraising events. PCC-NSW acknowledges also the hard work that affiliates do in holding their own events resulting in projects that have benefited their regional or target beneficiaries. Collectively, these projects brought hope to our kababayans back home, pride to the affiliate organisations and greater goodwill to the Filipino-Community of NSW as a whole. This Christmastime and hopefully in the coming years, the PCC-NSW board wants to express its gratitude to all the affiliates for all the hard work this year. Let come together and have a Christmas Party to celebrate… Full Story
